Yes I'm back talking about the Great Famine again. And we'll be moving onto our duties as members of society as well - again linked to Brig Ambue. Y 'see, I believe in practical spirituality. For me, unless we're practical about our beliefs and our practices, what's the point? I know plenty of people disagree with me - just look at the state of fundamentalism of all sorts in the US right now - but this is my standpoint. It doesn't have to be yours. Brig Ambue care about the ones who were...

I wanted to drop into your inbox with a gentle reminder — enrollment for Brigid’s Forge Collective is closing soon, and I’d love for you to be part of it. This is a six-month group coaching journey rooted in Brigid’s Path — the framework I’ve developed to help you build a spiritual practice that’s grounded, personal, and deeply aligned with your own values and needs. In a world that feels increasingly chaotic, it might seem like now isn’t the time to focus on spirituality. But I believe the...

I got out of the practice of writing last week. A week off work, followed by some major issues to deal with meant various things got dropped by the wayside. And a blog post and the emails were some of them. Fierce sorry about that, but it really was a case of prioritisation... I had a lovely weekend though. I sat on the couch on Saturday and didn't move. I think I did fewer than 700 steps all day. I needed it though. I came home on Friday night and I was tired. Like tired. Didn't make it to...

A lot of you seem to enjoy last week's "life" update, so I thought I'd give it a go again this week. It's my birthday weekend! I'm 45 on Sunday, which also happens to be Father's Day here in the Emerald Isle. I was also born on Father's Day, so I keep saying I was obviously the best present Dad ever got for the occasion. He occasionally agrees with me... Am I celebrating? Hell yeah! I didn't get to celebrate my 40th as I wished because of bloody Covid, so I'm celebrating this year. the family...

Why yes, it is my birthday this coming Sunday. (Hence the coupon ORLAGHBIRTHDAY45 giving you 45% off any and all courses before July 15th) And yes, it is Father's Day. Those good at the counting will realise I was also born on Father's Day, meaning I can never really beat the first pressie I ever gave Dad. (Something I remind him of when giving him yet another pair of socks. Seriously - he doesn't drink any more, he has everything he ever wanted from a golf point of view - what's a girl to...

I thought I'd give ye a life update. Cos, y'know, things happen. And sometimes, Brigid works in mysterious ways. So, my doctorate started a few weeks ago. I am now consumed with college assignments again, although to be honest, some of them are fairly short. Like <200 words short. So I can live with that. What I need to do, though, is build some structure into my life and put aside the time for studying. I'm using the next three months of assignment time to get that sorted out. I mean, yes,...

Well, I got a shock last week. I got an email from Teachable stating they were almost doubling their prices. And I host the school on Teachable. I can't really afford to accommodate that. However, I had a plan in place and this is just giving me the subtle kick up the arse I needed to move things over to a new platform. I'll be doing that over the next 6 weeks. ⏰(Yes, that is a reminder to me that the clock is ticking) Now, I currently have 33 courses up there, but at least 15 are duplicates...

Trigger warning: I am going to be talking about generational trauma, and the effects of last Thursday's meeting on me. Specifically, the physical after effects of certain triggers. So, skip this email if you're not able or willing for that today! If you read last week's email from Friday, you'll know I had an awful day on Thursday in work. Purely due to one particular conversation. And I wanted to explore a bit more the aftermath of that event in this email. Because part of my work for Brigid...
