Hi folks, I've been getting a lot of questions about the Inner Flame retreat, happening on Sunday! So based on the premise that if one person is asking, 10 more are thinking the question, here we go! What actually happens during the day? The Inner Flame is a live, one‑day online retreat held over five spacious hours. The day is gently structured, with periods of guided ritual, meditation, quiet reflection, and rest, as well as intentional pauses away from the screen. Nothing moves quickly. There is time to settle, to soften, to follow your own inner rhythm rather than a tight schedule. You will be guided throughout, so you never need to wonder what to do next — and you’ll also be free to rest, lie down, or step away whenever you need. Do I need to participate or speak? No. Sharing is never expected. You are welcome to remain silent for the entire retreat if that feels right. Cameras are optional. You may listen, rest, journal, stretch, make tea, or simply be present. This is a space where your being is enough, and participation is always invitational, never required. What if something emotional arises for me? This retreat is designed with gentleness, pacing, and nervous‑system awareness at its core. Emotions can arise naturally in spaces of rest and devotion, and that is welcome here. You will not be asked to process, explain, or share anything you don’t want to. The container is calm, grounded, and carefully held. Support is woven into the structure of the day through clear guidance, steady pacing, and respectful boundaries. Is this coaching, teaching, or personal development? No. This is not a space for analysis, problem‑solving, skill‑building, or self‑improvement. There will be no coaching, no teaching modules, and no pressure to “get something” from the experience. The Inner Flame is about rest, remembrance, and inner reconnection — allowing what is already alive within you the time and protection it needs to glow again. Do I need prior experience with meditation, ritual, or spiritual practice? Not at all. You don’t need any prior experience, belief system, or spiritual identity. The practices are simple, accessible, and gently guided. This space is especially welcoming to women who feel spiritually curious, devoted, or quietly unsure — including those who are tired of effort‑based approaches. All you need is a willingness to slow down and be with yourself. What kind of spirituality is this retreat rooted in? The Inner Flame is rooted in an Irish syncretic spirituality — a quiet, lived blending of Irish pagan and Catholic traditions that has long existed around Imbolc and Brigid. It draws on seasonal awareness, devotional rhythm, prayer‑like attentiveness, and ancestral lore, rather than on formal doctrine or institutional religion. The practices are shaped by story, symbol, ritual, and reverence for the land — not by theology, belief statements, or moral instruction. At the same time, this retreat is non‑dogmatic and non‑religious. You are not asked to believe anything, adopt a worldview, or identify with a particular faith. The spirituality here is experiential rather than instructional — rooted in presence, listening, and inner knowing. Many women find this space especially nourishing if they feel drawn to spiritual depth but are wary of rigid religion, authority‑based teaching, or effort‑driven paths. What matters most is resonance, not belief. You are welcome exactly as you are. Who is this retreat best suited for? The Inner Flame is especially suited to women who:
It welcomes all women, including women who were not assigned female at birth. What matters is resonance — a felt yes to gathering in a feminine, devotional space of rest. Why is the group limited to 10 women? The small group size is a deliberate and caring boundary. Limiting the retreat to 10 women allows for true intimacy, energetic containment, and personal attention. It ensures that the space remains calm, unhurried, and deeply held — not performative, busy, or anonymous. This is part of what makes the experience feel safe, tender, and restorative. Will there be recordings? This is intended as a live, in‑the‑moment experience rather than a course to consume later. Some guided meditations may be recorded. However, you are invited to treat this as sacred time set aside - a day you step into fully, rather than something to catch up on. What if I need to step away during the day? That’s completely welcome. You are encouraged to listen to your body and nervous system. You may turn your camera off, step away, lie down, or rest whenever you need. There is no requirement to be present in every moment in order to “receive” the experience. Trust that what you need will meet you. What platform will we use, and how do I prepare? The retreat will be held live online (via Zoom, details sent in advance). You’ll receive simple preparation guidance beforehand, including suggestions for creating a comfortable, supportive space - but nothing elaborate or time‑consuming. No special materials are required. What is the refund or cancellation policy? Because this retreat is intentionally small and energetically held, spaces are reserved with care. If you have questions or extenuating circumstances, you’re very welcome to reach out before purchasing. I hope that helps everyone! As always, if you have any other questions about the retreat, feel free to reach out! Bríd libh Órlagh P. S. Don't forget to sign up! Sunday is getting startlingly close! I'm dedicated to helping women in particular develop their spiritual path in life. I'm focused heavily on Brigid in Ireland, although not all my followers are! I teach, speak, coach and mentor people to help them along their own individual path, based on what lore we have, but also allowing for each individual path to develop as it needs to.
Ok, so I'm bit a tad facetious with that email header! If you've been on this list for any length of time, you'll know there's more to Imbolc to candles and honestly, it's perfectly possible to celebrate Imbolc with no candles at all! (I know, it's shocking, right?) But I also know this is the time of year when people like to connect with Brigid. So here's a few options for you: 🕯️If you're interested in a day of serious rest, you can check out the Inner Flame, an exclusive, intimate retreat...
I’m ready to share a little more. The Inner Flame is a private, one-day online Imbolc retreat — five spacious hours devoted to rest, presence, and reconnection. It’s not coaching or personal development. There’s nothing to learn, achieve, or figure out. It’s a pause.A space to soften.A chance to tend what’s quietly alive within you. I’m holding it for a small group, just 10 women, so the space can remain intimate and well-contained. If the idea of stepping out of effort for a day feels...
I want to share something gently. As I’ve been sitting with this season - with rest, timing, and the space before action - I’ve felt called to hold a day devoted entirely to that pause. Not a workshop. Not teaching. Not fixing or improving anything. Just a carefully held space to rest, listen, and reconnect with what’s steady beneath the noise. It’s a one-day online gathering aligned with Imbolc - the return of the light, not as a dramatic awakening, but as something small and protected. I’m...
