I know, fierce aggressive headline. This pic was taken about 8pm and the water was glorious. And you don't have to scroll any further down if you don't want to - I have no writing below the pic. But that trip to Tramore on Friday night was so healing. I mean seriously healing. I was cranky, irritated, miserable, and getting worse by the second. I was itchy, sweaty, feeling dirty... Look, I'm not built for 25C heat. I'm just not. And I have no qualms about saying that. So when I got home, myself and Al decided we'd hit Tramore, but later in the evening to allow all the families to leave the beach before we got there. And it was glorious. To the point there'll be a blog post on it in the next few weeks. But really and truly, it was a healing experience. I didn't swim as such. You can probably see in the pic my glasses are still on - I couldn't see anything on the beach to tell me where Al was without my glasses on. But I doused myself completely, several times, in the sea. It was cooling. It was pleasant. I could feel the waves speaking to me. I felt like a goddamn goddess coming out of the waves. (effect slightly spoiled by the stones underfoot, but who cares!) So here's your sign to look for some water healing if you can in this heat. Well worth it! Bríd libh Órlagh P. S.
