I’ve been thinking more about rest this week. Not collapse. The pause where things are still forming beneath the surface. I know, deeply, that rest is not available to everyone right now. There are places in the world where survival takes all the space there is. I hold that reality alongside my own. And still, for those of us who do have the choice, I’m wondering what happens when we stop forcing clarity, momentum, or answers. And allow ourselves a little time to regroup. The earth hasn’t fully woken yet. Some things are still preparing underground. Maybe rest right now isn’t about stopping everything - but about noticing where pushing no longer serves. About letting certain questions remain unanswered. About trusting timing a little more than urgency. I’m sitting with that. Bríd libh Órlagh Check out the links below: Website |
I'm dedicated to helping women in particular develop their spiritual path in life. I'm focused heavily on Brigid in Ireland, although not all my followers are! I teach, speak, coach and mentor people to help them along their own individual path, based on what lore we have, but also allowing for each individual path to develop as it needs to.
I know, two emails in one day - a plethora of talk from me! But it's the time of year when my brain is kinda active in this area. Blame Brigid. We were taught what to believe, how to behave, what counted as “holy,” "proper",...

Yes, I am aware there is some controversy about the exact date of Imbolc. You can go astrologically (Tuesday 3rd February, apparently), the calendar date (31st hanuary, based of St. Brigid's Day being 1st February) or some other weird and wonderful method. My particular weird and wonderful method is using the bank holiday weekend we now get in Ireland. So, my celebration starts today. I'll leave out my brat Bhríde tomorrow night. I'll be lighting candles, holding rituals and running retreats...
