🔇 A quiet space I’m holding

I want to share something gently.

As I’ve been sitting with this season - with rest, timing, and the space before action - I’ve felt called to hold a day devoted entirely to that pause.

Not a workshop.
Not teaching.
Not fixing or improving anything.

Just a carefully held space to rest, listen, and reconnect with what’s steady beneath the noise.

It’s a one-day online gathering aligned with Imbolc - the return of the light, not as a dramatic awakening, but as something small and protected.

I’m keeping it intimate. Quiet. Spacious.

I’ll share more soon. For now, I just wanted to name that this is taking shape, slowly, intentionally, in the same spirit I’ve been writing about.

Hi, I'm Orlagh, of Brigid's Forge

I'm dedicated to helping women in particular develop their spiritual path in life. I'm focused heavily on Brigid in Ireland, although not all my followers are! Ok, so I'm bit a tad facetious with that email header! If you've been on this list for any length of time, you'll know there's more to Imbolc to candles and honestly, it's perfectly possible to celebrate Imbolc with no candles at all! (I know, it's shocking, right?) But I also know this is the time of year when people like to connect with Brigid. So here's a few options for you: 🕯️If you're interested in a day of serious rest, you can check out the Inner Flame, an exclusive, intimate retreat...

I’m ready to share a little more. The Inner Flame is a private, one-day online Imbolc retreat — five spacious hours devoted to rest, presence, and reconnection. It’s not coaching or personal development. There’s nothing to learn, achieve, or figure out. It’s a pause.A space to soften.A chance to tend what’s quietly alive within you. I’m holding it for a small group, just 10 women, so the space can remain intimate and well-contained. If the idea of stepping out of effort for a day feels...

There’s a story we’ve been told: that rest is something you earn. After the work is done. After the answers are clear. After you’ve proven yourself useful enough. But I don’t believe that’s true. Rest, especially for women, is often the thing that makes clarity possible. It’s where assimilation happens. Where the nervous system settles enough to hear what’s actually true. In a world that demands productivity at all times, choosing not to push can feel quietly radical. Even one deep breath.Even...
