😕 When was the last time you sat with your values?

I want to ask you a genuine, slightly uncomfortable question today:

When was the last time you consciously, intentionally sat down and explored your values - and how you actually embody them in your life?

Not the values you inherited.
Not the values you were told a good woman or a good believer should hold.
Not the values you think you’re supposed to claim.

I mean the values that you, in your adult, sovereign, fully‑alive self, truly hold now.

Most women I work with realise:

  • They haven’t named their real values in years
  • They’re living by old ones without noticing
  • Or they’ve been afraid to choose new ones because “what if I choose wrong?”

And this matters - because your values shape everything:

💘What you say yes to.
💘What you tolerate.
💘What you walk away from.
💘What you build next.

Here’s the gentle truth:
Clarity doesn’t come from thinking harder - it comes from making space to listen inwardly.

And that’s exactly what we’ll be doing inside my 2‑hour workshop, From Restriction to Freedom, this Saturday at 4pm Irish time.

We’ll explore:

✨ What you value now, in your own words
✨ How those values show up in your body
✨ Where your past shaped you - and where it no longer speaks for you
✨ What you want your spiritual life to feel like going forward

If this email has already stirred something in you…
If you’re realising it’s been a long time since you sat with yourself in this way…
Then this workshop is for you.

You deserve a spiritual life that feels like yours.

Hi, I'm Orlagh, of Brigid's Forge

I'm dedicated to helping women in particular develop their spiritual path in life. I'm focused heavily on Brigid in Ireland, although not all my followers are! I teach, speak, coach and mentor people to help them along their own individual path, based on what lore we have, but also allowing for each individual path to develop as it needs to.

This Saturday, I'm holding a clarity workshop. So often, women come to me and they know they're running away from something, but they're not 100% sure what they're headed towards. And this workshop aims to walk you through this. I'm looking to help you answer such questions as: ✔️What do I actually want from my spiritual life now? ✔️What did I value? What did I resent? ✔️And how do I create a meaningful spiritual path that nourishes—without recreating the rigidity I left behind? It's two...

I know, two emails in one day - a plethora of talk from me! But it's the time of year when my brain is kinda active in this area. Blame Brigid. Over the past few months, so many women in this community have shared a similar feeling with me: “I know what I’m leaving behind… but I’m not fully sure what I’m moving towards.” If you were shaped by rigid religion or restrictive spiritual rules, it makes complete sense. We were taught what to believe, how to behave, what counted as “holy,” "proper",...
